Palma de Mallorca Airport is the entry point to this very popular Balearic island of Majorca in Spain. Just over 23 million passengers used the airport in 2007. Although traffic is mainly seasonal, the airport also offers flights to mainland Spain. Germany accounts for the largest number of passengers, followed by Spain and the UK.

Getting into Town: Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor. Bus no.1 runs to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca (journey time: 30 minutes) and Porto Pi.

Car Parking: There is a covered car park close to the terminal for long- and short-term parking. The car park has a capacity for 5,700 vehicles on six floors.

Money and communications: The terminal has a full service bank on the Departures fourth floor and several ATMs. There are also post boxes, a post office and telephones.

Eating and drinking: There are many bars and restaurants at the airport, including a 24-hour bar and a 24-hour cafeteria.

Shopping: Shops include duty-free, a tobacconists, toy shop, leather goods shop, shoe shops, a jewelers, opticians, florists, sweet shops, gift shops and a clothing accessories shop.

Other facilities: There are 24-hour first aid services and a pharmacy, as well as numerous travel agents and a children’s room.
